The Shimmer Wall is a prominent architectural feature on the west elevation of the new Raleigh Convention Center, the largest project undertaken by the City of Raleigh and County of Wake. Coordination with the building architects and engineers allowed this project to replaceswhat would have been large architectural louvers on this part of the building and creates a moving iconic image in the skyline of the City of Oaks.
